Malacca’s Chicken Rice Balls

No, this is not Chicken with giant Fish Balls but Chicken with RICE Balls. Chicken Rice Balls is a dish that is quite famous in Malacca. The chicken is roasted with some gravy and the rice are shaped like balls. You might think that only the shape of the rice differs but the taste is just delicious.

You can find restaurants serving this dish all over town, but we had ours at Jonker Street. The restaurant had a very distinct Chinese interior design. When we entered the restaurant, it was like we were transported to China. We were also surprised to find a golden Chinese Emperor’s Throne at the back of the restaurant. It’s a great spot to sit and take your photo and feel like an emperor for just a few minutes.

I love to travel to see new places, faces, eat different food, hear different languages and dialect and simply to experience CHANGE from my normal everday life! Enjoy the journey with me as we take a walk from my neighborhood to flying wherever God allows us to go.
