The Malasag Eco-Tourism village is indeed a must place to see for all the local and foreign tourist. But, now I’m also wondering why I didn’t bring my Hubby here before. Anways, this village is a break from the busy city life and gives you a glimpse of the region’s different tribes and culture.
The Village is softly nestled within the slopes of Cugman and gives you a great view of the city below. Surrounded by trees and with a cool atmosphere, this is also a relaxing place for the busy minds.
We did enjoy our trip to the Eco- village and our 4 year old especially enjoyed walking on the hanging bridge, seeing the birds, snakes, deers and monkeys.
So, next time you visit Cagayan de Oro, don’t forget to drop by this village. Just make sure you bring a lot of water as you need to walk some distance and you need to go up and down the slopes. But it’s good that they have bar rails on the stairs to help you go up and down.
