Mellow Yellow Monday - Karaweik Garden

Posted by Budget Traveler in

This photo is the famous Karaweik in Yangon, Myanmar. From afar ( exterior) the Karaweik is a replica of the royal barge built in 1972. Presently, this is a buffet restaurant and this photo above is the entrance leading to the restaurant.

The Karaweik is located in Kandawgyi Nature Park which also has a zoo, an aquarium, amusement park and a line of restaurants. This is a great place for friends and family to hang out with a great view of the Kandawgyi Lake and overlooking the Shwedagon Pagoda.

I am surprised it is a buffet. It does have a golden glow.
