On Holiday Trips and Holiday Buying Guide

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Dirt Devil. All opinions are 100% mine.

Christmas Holiday is just around the corner. Many of the people now must have already made their holiday plans. Many of the budget travelers must have already booked their flight tickets earlier to avoid the holiday rush and high airfare rates. Yeah, December is one of the peak seasons and I'm sure the air rates are slowly rising up by now.

For those on a budget, Budget Guides are always helpful. Take for example the Budget guide from Dirt Devil. I've just gone through the guide and I'm amazed at the intensive list of sites with great promotions and sale from General merchandise to Nutrition.

The promo codes will be most helpful to those who want the cheapest bargain.Plus, not to mention the free shipping shortcuts and over 300 helpful ways to save on online shopping. This is indeed a resource that is a 'haven' to all the online shoppers out there. We all know that the holidays are the busiest time of the year and we would all want to save time and most especially money. So, why don't you see the Holiday Buying guide for yourself.

Dirt Devil itself has some great holiday deals including: Gifts for Her, Gifts for Him, and Family Favorites.

Watery Wednesday - Pokhra, Nepal

My Hubby went to Nepal last September and he truly enjoyed the beautiful sceneries and nature of the Nepal. Below are photos of portions of the Phewa Lake ( located in Pokhra, Nepal) which thunders into a hole and disappears. The impressive falls is called Patale Chhango or Devi's Fall. The falls which only the top portion can be seen is said to be so deep that even the locals don't have an exact measurement of how deep it is. My Hubby was not able to take photo of the falls since he couldn't see anything below but just hear the rushing of the water.

Bonjour!

Bonjour means Hello or literally means 'Good Day' in French. Why am I suddenly posting French now? Nope, I'm not going to France in the near future. But I'm dreaming of a French vacation nowadays. I've just watched a movie which was located in France so, that must explain my state of dreaminess. If I would ever go to France, I would love to stay in any of the lovely Paris hotels like the hotel paris metro mouton duvernet or the hotel metro saint augustin .

Oh, enough of dreaming now and let me come back to earth and get some real sleep. Good Night!

Our Disneyland Experience in Hong Kong

One of the highlights of our trip in Hong Kong was Disneyland. It's indeed a 'magical' and unforgettable place where you just want to visit often.

Our day started very early for our Disney trip. We a bus and 3 trains just to get to Disney Resort. We actually bought a 1 day pass for the train so that we only have to pay once for all the train rides. The Disney experience actually started from riding the Disney train where the 'mickey mouse ears' design is just everywhere in the train interior. From the windows to the handles.

When we got off the train, our hearts where pounding with excitement as we saw the nicely designed train station and the Disney music heard all around. It was still 9:30 am when we arrived. The park only opens at 10:30 but there were already a handful of people from the train station to the park entrance.

We were one of the few people who entered the resort first and it was very nice to see the park with only a few people. When we entered, Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse were already waiting at the kiosk with few people lined up for picture taking. Of course, we didnt' miss the photo opp as our li'l boy is a fan of Minnie Mouse.

After the photo opp, we walked through Main Street and waited for the 'official' announcement for the park to be opened and only then we were able to enter the other 3 sections of the park : Advertureland, Tomorrowland and Fantasyland. And then the FUN began!!

This post would be too long if I have to write all the fun and experiences we had but Disneyland is indeed a great place to be especially if you're with your little ones. I usually ask my li'l girl what she like most about Disneyland and the answer get is " EVERYTHING!" It's really true, everything about Disneyland is just awesome from the stage shows, to the rides, the parades, the characters, the design and the fireworks at night was just breathtaking!

So, if you're planning for a holiday with your li'l ones, Disneyland would make one of the best destinations. It's truly a worthwhile experience for you and your kids.

Next Destination: Philippines!

We've just arrived from Hong Kong this afternoon but the tiredness of our travel doesn't stop me from being excited for our upcoming trip to the Philippines next week. Wohoo!

But before that, we still need to travel to my Hubby's hometown which is 5 hours from here, unpack our bags, do laundry ( which would surely be a mountain of laundry) and start preparing and packing our things again for our Philippines trip.

Which reminds me, I haven't posted any photos from our Hong Kong Trip yet. Things have been quite busy lately and I hope that I would be able to do that next week.

4th Day

It's our fourth day here in Hong Kong. And so far we've still covered a few places namely the Victoria Peak, Central and Disneyland. Here is a brief summary of the places we've been to.

The view in Victoria Peak was spectacular, we were there in the afternoon until night, so we watched the sunset and the glimmering skyline at night.

The busy central part of Hong Kong was also quite impressive, it was very clean and orderly in spite of the hassles and bustles of city life.

And the best part so far during our 4 days stay here is our trip to Disneyland. It's indeed a magical place where there's just so much fun, entertainment and excitement.

I would just have to write about our trip in summary as of now. I'll have to write more in detail with photos next time.

Our destination tomorrow would be the Harbor, the Avenue of the Stars and the Space Museum.
