Thai Holidays and Festival from May-December 2010

I was surprised about the school Holiday today for the Royal Ploughing Ceremony. I wasn’t aware of it earlier, if not, I could have made plans for the kids. Anyways, I’ve googled in the net on future Thai Holidays and festivals for 2010 and I’m reposting it here for my own use and it might be helpful for you too.

OCTOBER

22nd October 2010 – Buffalo Racing, Chonburi (TBC)
23rd October 2010 – Chulalongkorn Memorial Day * ( Public Holiday)
23rd October 2010 – End of Buddhist Retreat
25th October 2010 – Substitution Day for Chulalongkorn Memorial Day (Public Holiday)
28th October 2010 – Phra Samut Chedi Temple Fair, Samut Prakan (TBC)

NOVEMBER
21st November 2010 – Loy Krathong ( Festival)
28th November 2010 – Monkey Party in Lopburi

DECEMBER
5th December 2010 – King’s Birthday and Father’s Day * ( Public Holiday)
6th December 2010 – Substitution Day for King’s Birthday *( Public Holiday)
10th December 2010 – Constitution Day * (Public Holiday)
31st December 2010 – New Year’s Day * ( Public Holiday)
