The End of the Philippine Election

All the polls closed at 7pm this evening and marked the end of the Philippine Election. Now, we are all looking forward to know who will be the next president of the Philippines. Though the one who’s on the lead is not my personal choice to be the next president but, if he wins, then I have no choice but to support him and pray for God’s wisdom and righteousness to lead the Nation.

I was only a bit sad today because I wasn’t able to cast my vote. I’m currently in Thailand and I was in the Philippines during the registration time for overseas voters. But still I’m glad that there’s a 75% voters turn out in the whole of the Philippines. This is quite high and somehow proves that our countrymen are still so concern of our nation.

I do pray for a more prosperous and corrupt-free Philippines for the next 6 years.
