A Perfect Holiday and Holiday Cottages

My idea of a perfect holiday is staying on beautiful holiday cottages like that of Cornwall Cottages and spend my day lazily reading books or taking short walks breathing in the stunning scenery that surrounds me. Of course, enjoying appetizing meals would be included in my list of things to do for that holiday too. Does it seem like I’m talking about a holiday in one of the European countries or maybe the beautiful United Kingdom? Oh, I wish I could dare dreaming of a perfect holiday in the UK but it seems far from reality now.
But as I was thinking about a perfect holiday for our family, I was actually reminiscing of one of our family holidays in Cameron Highlands almost two years back. That was indeed one perfect holiday for our family. We stayed in one of the old bungalow houses in Cameron and the weather was cool and perfect. They had a big ground for the kids to play and we were actually surrounded by beautiful scenery. We didn’t do much for 3 days but to go around the town. We visited a few strawberry farms, a bee farm, butterfly farm and the tea plantation. The visit to the Tea Plantation was also unforgettable. Who wouldn’t be mesmerized by the bright green hills and delicious scones and teaccino? I didn’t mind the uphill walk to the cafe, because I was just amazed by the beautiful place and sumptuous food.
Oh, how I wish we could go back to Cameron Highlands again. But even if, we won’t get a chance to go back there again , I’m already thankful for the opportunity to visit that wonderful place. What about you? What’s your idea of a perfect holiday?
Anyways, to complete my ‘reminiscing the past’, let share with you a few of our Cameron Highland photos.

The Playground- My kids’ favorite spot. This is the place they want to go right after they wake up. :)

The Teacino- This was my first time to taste the teacino and it was love at first sip.. :) This reminds me to buy the 3 in 1 Teacino packets when we go to Malaysia.

My daughter with the Boh Tea plantation at her back. This was taken 2 years back so my daughter still seems so small here. :)

The Cafe perched on the tea hill .. this is one of my favorite places.. I like the building design, it didn’t take the attention off the plantation but complemented it.
