It’s pretty obvious that Hat Yai is in it’s economic peak. One can see a lot of new buildings from posh condominiums to shop lot buildings mushrooming within the city. I believe that many of its residents are investing in properties and maybe a lot of people from the provinces are also looming in.

I guess it will be more difficult in looking for a new house to rent in now and surely rental won’t be as cheap anymore. But anyways, we are already quite settled here in our current rented house. I don’t think we can ever find a 3 bedroom house for 3,500 Baht anymore.
