We were there for the opening event and the kids enjoyed their experience. At around 4PM they had crafts and activities for kids and a short opening program.

We were all so excited for the display of the hot air balloons and it took a bit of time for them to set them all up. Unfortunately, they only set up 4 hot air balloons and it was up (though ┬ánot even on the air) for only a very short time. We expected that the ballons will be up the whole night and the public will get a chance to get in it. But I’m not sure whether some things came up on why they were in a hurry to keep the balloons.

And since, it was already late and the kids were already hungry, we didn’t wait for the Balloon Night Glow anymore and just decided to go home. Seeing the hot-air balloons ‘live’ was already enough for us.

This event is only until tomorrow, March 7, 2015 at Jiranakorn Stadium. It’s a free event and I heard they also give a chance for people to ride the balloon, not sure though if there’s a fee and for how long.

Anyways, it’s still worth going there if you have the time. Just seeing the big balloons is already an amazing experience._DSC0012 _DSC0034 _DSC0041 _DSC0046
